LIMA COMPANY - LONDON AREA MARINE CADETS

Lima Company forms one of the six Marine Cadet Companies within the Marine Cadet Section of the Sea Cadet Corps.

The Marine Cadet Section was formed in 1955 at the request of the Commandant General Royal Marines. It is an integral part of the Sea Cadet Corps (just as the Royal Marines are an integral part of the Royal Navy), and it naturally looks to the Royal Marines for its styles and standards of dress, drill and training.
